Clara Mae Wilkins Aycock, 87, Princeton, passed away at SECU Hospice House Friday, Feb. 3, 2017.
She was born March 16, 1929, to the late James Franklin Wilkins and Jennie Benson Wilkins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alford Jesse Aycock.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, in Casey Funeral Home chapel at 4 p.m., with the Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. The committal will be in Princeton Cemetery Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at 10:30 a.m.
She is survived by sons, Thomas Elton Aycock and wife, Carolyn, of Princeton and Alford Ray Aycock and wife, Rosa, of Princeton; daughters, Clara Ann Potter and husband, Kenneth, of Rosewood, Shirley Gray Newcomb and husband, Dennis, of Princeton and Jenny Marie Evans and husband, Donald, of Princeton; brothers, Jimmy Wilkins and wife, Sheila, of Garner and Billy Wilkins and wife, Edna, of Princeton; 10 grandchildren, Curtis Hollowell, Pete Hollowell, Connie Lassiter, Sherri Peedin, Alan Aycock, Donna Bullard, Rebecca Evans, Justin Aycock, Jessica Puig and Matthew Aycock; nine great-grandchildren, Megan Peedin, Daniel Peedin, Emily Peedin, Jonathan Peedin, Hunter Lassiter, Katelyn Evans, Olivia Evans, Abby Bullard and Rachel Bullard; and special family, Donald Ray and Christine Crumpler.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, 2017, at Casey Funeral Home chapel and immediately afterward.
