Dottie Edmundson Flanner, 79, Lindell community of Stantonsburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016.
Funeral Saturday 1 p.m. Lebanon United Methodist Church, followed by a time of visiting and sharing. Interment Stantonsburg Cemetery.
Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Lillie Brown Edmundson; husband, Jack Strange; and brother, James Edmundson.
She was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church and Gideon's International Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Bud Flanner; daughters, Pamela Tenney (Jerry) of Smithfield, Va., Teresa Chesson (Chuck) of Stantonsburg and Jackie Strother (John) of Wake Forest; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Faye Anderson of Stantonsburg; stepdaughter, Laura Flanner of Raleigh; stepson, Will Flanner of Wilmington; and one stepgrandchild.
