CAROLYN S. HOWELL

Carolyn Sanders Howell, 78, Goldsboro, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Carolyn was born in Wayne County April 7, 1938, to the late Morgan and Kizzie Sanders.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Bobby Gray Howell.
Carolyn had worked for more than 30 years with Kemp Furniture Co., and retired from Cherry Hospital Farm Center in Goldsboro.
She was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church, and was a dedicated and faithful servant her entire life.
She will be missed, but greatly remembered.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at 1 p.m. in Pikeville Cemetery, with the Rev. Walter Sloan officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
Carolyn is survived by her son, Ricky Howell and fianceé, Connie Olszyk of Pikeville; grandchildren, Patrick Howell and Courtney Howell; and sisters, Mary Uzzell of Princeton, Latitia Caprell of Raleigh and Joyce Gwaltney of Goldsboro.
She is also survived by her special friend and traveling companion, Robert Fleming, and dear friend, Gail Rose.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Todd Howell, and brothers, Roy Sanders and Ralph Sanders.
