PATTIE BRITT ELZAS

Mrs. Pattie Britt Elzas, resident of Mount Olive, passed away early Wednesday morning, July 13, 2016, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. She was 95.
Graveside services will be Saturday, July 16, at 11 a.m. in Maplewood Cemetery of Mount Olive, officiated by the Rev. Marti Hatch.
A gathering of friends and family will follow the service at First United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Elzas; their two sons, John Thomas Elzas and Michael Elzas; and her parents, Leamon and Lola Dail Britt.
Her survivors include her sister, Lucy Britt Daughtry of Mount Olive; two grandchildren, Robin Eagan and Phillip Elzas both of Florida; three great-grandchildren; and two great-nephews, George William Daughtry and Michael Borden Daughtry both of the Mount Olive area.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her beloved First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 420, Mount Olive, N.C., 28365.
