Teresa Thompson Hill, 62, passed away early Saturday morning at her residence.
Born in Lenoir County, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Lee Thompson and Carolyn Coker Hill, and was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Thompson.
A service to celebrate the life of Teresa will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charles Gentry officiating.
Family members will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
She is survived by a son, Gary Milton Hill Jr.; a daughter, Gina Hill Martin and husband, Zack; a brother, Dennis Thompson; and two grandchildren, Gary Milton Hill III and Tucker Lee Martin.
