ESTHER MASSENGILL WELLS
Esther Massengill Wells, 96, died Monday morning, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville surrounded by her family.
Esther was born in Johnston County on May 10, 1920, to the late Bradley and Florence Parker Massengill. She was married to the late Lonnie Wells Sr.
Services will be held Friday, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Kenly Funeral Service with the Rev. Lavonne Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Kenly Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons and four daughters.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Kenly Funeral Service and at other times at the home of her daughter, Betty Lamm.
