Marcus Devon Jacobs, 42, originally from Goldsboro, N.C., passed away June 24, 2016, in Carolina Medical Hospital in Charlotte, N.C.
The funeral service was held June 28, 2016, in Charlotte.
Marcus was born May 17, 1974, to Kennon Jacobs and the late Joyce Jacobs.
He graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1992. He also graduated from North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, N.C., with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering in 1996.
He is survived by the love of his life, Martha Lopez, fiancee´; his son, Nathan Alexader Jacobs; three loving sisters, Mia R. Whitley (Maurice) of High Point, N.C., Crystal D. Jacobs of Atlanta and Amber D. Jacobs of Honolulu; as well as a host of loving relatives and friends.
