Rudolph Hughes Jr., 80, Goldsboro, passed away Tuesday at his home.
Rudolph was the son of the late Rudolph Hughes Sr. and Katie Kornegay Hughes.
He had worked as an electrical engineer with NASA and with Shell Oil Co.
Rudolph proudly served his country in the United States Army.
No formal service will be held.
Rudolph is survived by his sons, Rudolph Alton Hughes of Logonville, Ga., Clifton Abbott Hughes of Decatur, Ga., and Davis Allen Hughes of Decatur, Ga.; grandchildren, Joshua Abbott Hughes, Amanda Hughes and Sunshine Hughes; and one great-grandchild, Parker Hughes.
