Her mom is Crystal Daughtry, and stepdad is James Jackson
Her dad is Mike Mewborn, and stepmom is Holly Mewborn.
Her brother is Dylan Daughtry. Her sister is Kenna Daughtry.
She has several stepbrothers and one stepsister.
Her maternal grandparents are Sharon and Harold Person and Mike and Sophronia Daughtry
Her great-grandmother is Grace Tyner.
Her paternal grandparents are Gary and Faye Mewborn and Tina and Glenn Anderson.
She was proceeded in death by her great-grandmother, Hilda Jackson, and papa, Joe Whitley.
Destinee graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School in 2014.
She was a member of the show choir.
She loved all kinds of music and animals, but mostly her papa; brother, Dylan; and sister, Kenna.
She always greeted everyone with a great big happy smile, and will be most remembered by her big, beautiful eyes.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at Howell Funeral Home, with a service to celebrate her life following at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at other times at the home of her nana, 132 Crossbow Drive, Pikeville.
