Mother Rosa Lee Barnes Randolph, 81, 6074 Church Road, LaGrange, N.C., departed her earthly life Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston, N.C.

Rosa was born in Wayne County March 18, 1934. She was born to the late Mrs. Pearl Body Barnes and Mr. Ora Barnes.

She received some education in the Wayne County public school system.

Mother Rosa was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Claude Randolph Sr.; her daughter, Nancy Ann Randolph; and her son-in-law, James Bostic.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Hull Road Free Will Baptist Church, 2660 N.C. 258 North, Kinston, N.C. Elder Viola D. Watkin will officiate.

Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, 201 N. Forbes St., LaGrange, N.C.

Also, a public viewing will be held Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, from 2 to 6 p.m. in Apostle D.L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C., with the family present from 5 to 6 p.m.

Mother Randolph is survived by loving and devoted sons, Claude Randolph Jr. and wife, Annie, of Kinston, N.C., Samuel Hines and wife, Mary, of Kinston, N.C., Henry Hines of Richmond, Va., Leroy Randolph and wife, Joyce, of Goldsboro, N.C., David Randolph and wife, Phyllis, of Charles City, Va., and Donnie Randolph of LaGrange, N.C.; her daughters, Maddie Bostic of Richmond, Va., Ruby Kornegay of Goldsboro, N.C., Shirlene Bryant and husband, Kelly, of Richmond, Va., and Linda Gail Randolph of Kinston, N.C.; her sisters-in-law, Ella Mae Randolph and Ada Jean Coley and husband, Bruce; 39 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, the family members and friends will assemble one hour prior at 11:45 a.m. at the Randolph's residence, 6074 Church Road, LaGrange, N.C., in preparation for the funeral procession.

Flowers may be sent to McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, N.C., beginning Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
