Helen Huffman Sauls, 80, Fremont, went to be with her Lord Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center while surrounded by her children.
Helen was born in Wayne County Feb. 8, 1935, to the late Lloyd and Esther McCullen Huffman. She was married to the late Gurney Lee Sauls.
Helen had worked for many years with International Freight Forwarding in Virginia.
She was a member of Heart of David Church in Eureka.
Helen was a generous and gracious woman. She will be remembered for the love and laughter that she shared during her well-lived life.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 20, 2015, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service celebrating her life at 11 a.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Kem Lancaster officiating. Interment will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Cathy Sauls of Fremont; son, Tommy Lee Sauls and wife, Bobbie Ann, of Fremont; grandchildren, Brian Moye, Cristin Moye Hodges and husband, Moses, Joey Sauls, Jenessa Sauls, William Sauls and wife, Rachel, and Michael Sauls; great-grandchildren, Krystal Sauls, Ethan Moye, Kit Sauls and Zack Sauls; and stepgrandchildren, Christopher Wray, Keith Wray, Chasity Clark, Moses Hodges Jr. and Jessica Hodges.
She is also survived by her sisters, Esther Huffman Howell and Dollie Best.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
