Billy Taylor, 82, Kinston, passed away at Lenoir Memorial Hospital May 16, 2015.
Billy was retired from DuPont after 38 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.
Billy is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marie Radford Taylor of the home; daughter, Elizabeth "Jackie" Taylor Shivar and husband, Michael, of Kinston; son, Michael Taylor and wife, Nancy, of Fort Mill, S.C.; sisters, Margie Ridoutt of Garner and Rosa Minchew of Goldsboro; granddaughter, Ashley Elizabeth Shivar; and a special friend and caregiver, Joan Creel.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held other times at the home of his daughter at 1802 Emerson Road in Kinston.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your.
