Janis Marie Faison, 49, died March 11 at Willow Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Wayne County, she is the daughter of Helen Marie Faison and George Battle Jr.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Disciple Church of Christ Disciples of Christ in Mount Olive.
The burial will be in Oakview Cemetery.
One son survives.
The visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday with the family being present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel.
