Billy Ray Creel, 70, Kinston, died Sunday.
He was born April 9, 1944, in Dover to the late Harvey Creel and Etta Belle Braxton Creel.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Rouse Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Thompson Creel, and two children.
The family will receive friends Saturday following the service.
