MIDDLESEX -- Bettie Jean Wood Woodard, 76, died Thursday at Wilson Medical Center.
Bettie was born in Duplin County on March 5, 1939 to the late Elmon and Nellie Bell Brown Wood.
Bettie is survived by her husband, Rastus Woodard, one daughter and one son.
Funeral Services will be held today at 6 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church with the Rev. Jonathan Turner officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
The family will receive in the church immediately following the funeral service and at other times at her home.
