MARIE W. O'CONNER
June 29, 1945-March 12, 2015
LAGRANGE -- Marie Wise O'Conner, 69, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
Marie was born in Wayne County on June 29, 1945 to the late Henry and Eleanor Morgan Wise. She was employed for many years with Shaver Battery and later went to work with Dail Printing Company and Sallie's Bridal Shop.
Marie was the kindest and most loving mother and grandmother and a great friend to everyone. She will be missed by all who were blessed enough to know her.
The family will receive friends on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 10-11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service celebrating Marie's life at 11 a.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Harold T. Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Marie is survived by her husband of 20 years, Morris O'Conner; son, Jeff Sullivan of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Madison, Peyton and Dylan Sullivan; and her step-daughters, Tracy Riggs and family and Christy Baker and family. She is also survived by a special sister-in-law, Alice Anderson and husband, Harold of Goldsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carlton Wise.
