MARIAN W. HARRELL

Marian Wenner Harrell, 91, passed away early Saturday morning, March 14, 2015, at the Brian Center.

Marian was born in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania on Sept. 18, 1923 to the late Henry John Wenner and Emma Mildred Huffman Wenner. She was married to the late Edwin Thomas Harrell. Marian worked for many years as a greeter at Wal-Mart in Goldsboro. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Mount Olive.

A service celebrating Marian's life will be held by the graveside on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Wayne Memorial Park.

Marian is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Johnson of Goldsboro; son, Donald Edwin Harrell and wife, Nancy of Rosewood; sisters, Marjorie Housekenecht, Laura Duna, Donna Wenner, Doris Koch, Emma Brandmier and Joan Ziller, all of Pennsylvania; brothers, Donald Wenner and David Wenner of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a loving friend and caregiver, Ethel Weakley.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jarvis Johnson; sisters, Altheda Fairchild, Betty Anthony and Bebe Eckrote; and brothers, Kenneth Wenner, Robert Wenner and Herbert Wenner.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
