She lived near Strathaven, Scotland, with her aunt, Mamie Grace, and attended Catholic boarding school near Glasgow during the war.

After the war, her parents moved to Beith, Scotland, and she joined them there for her last year at Spier's before University.

Marjory met and married Robert Bliss Stevenson. They had one son, Calum (Sandy) Robert Stevenson, and initially lived on the road for Bob's job before settling in Las Vegas, Nev., for a few years.

The family then lived in Morocco and England before returning to the United States.

After a year in Sacramento, they moved to Goldsboro, N.C., where Marjory spent the next 30 years of her life.

She worked at O'Berry, then Wayne Memorial Hospital, where she retired as nurse manager of the newborn nursery.

Marjory volunteered in the emergency room after retiring.

She was a member of New Hope Friends while she resided in North Carolina.

She relocated to Oregon in 2006 to be near her son and his family.
