Judy Carol Hines O'Brien, 67, resident of the Dudley area, passed away Sunday evening, March 1, 2015, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A service of remembrance will be Wednesday, March 4, at 7 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Kelvin Coates officiating, followed by visitation.
Judy is survived by her longtime companion, Jerry Ward; a daughter, Cynthia Wendell of Pikeville; two sons, Michael Patrick O'Brien and wife, Tammy, of Nahunta and Shawn Walter O'Brien also of Nahunta; five grandchildren, Brittany, Tristan and Breanna O'Brien and Heather and Goliath Wendell; a great-grandchild, Alyssa Padilla; six siblings, Laura H. Dean and husband, Richard, of South Carolina, James Hines and wife, Peggy, of Seven Springs, Frank Hines and wife, Debra, of Dudley, Sandra H. Sullivan and husband, John Dail, of Mount Olive and Tim Hines and Tip Hines both of Dudley; special friends, Susan Volin and Jan Mitchell both of the Dudley area; several nieces and nephews; and her four-legged companion, Bella.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter W. Hines and Hazel Price Hine, and a son-in-law, Mark Steven Wendell.
