He was born on March 24, 1957, in Scotland County to John Horace and Inez Wilkinson Smith.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Monday in the chapel.
