Robert Ashton Tilghman, 82, died Thursday at the N.C. Veterans Hospital in Durham.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday followed by visitation at Community Funeral Home of Beulaville in Beulaville.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter.
