Mr. Daniel Webster Croom, 24, lovingly known by his family and friends as "Danny," of 307 Camp Trailee Road, Dudley, departed his earthly life on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, at his residence.

Danny was born in Wayne County on Nov. 7, 1990, to Mrs. Cymantha Croom-Darby and Mr. Vincent Boyd.

He received his education in the public school system of Wayne County.

Daniel was employed with Quality Service Industry for a number of months.

Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at 1 p.m. in the Apostle D. L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George Street, Goldsboro.

Sister Ashley Lee will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 545 Casey Mill Road, Dudley.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Apostle D. L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, with the family present from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Mr. Croom leaves to cherish his loving and precious memories to his two daughters, D'Azia Croom and Corey'Ell Croom; his son, Darius Croom; his mother, Cymantha Croom-Darby; his stepfather, Carl Darby; his adoptive dad, Donnie Tate; his biological dad, Vincent Boyd; his two sisters, Dawnee Tate and Alicia Roddick and husband, Torrencio; his three stepsisters, Myiesha, Tameika and Victoria Darby; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

On Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, the family members and friends will assemble one hour prior, at 11:50 a.m., at Mr. and Mrs. Carl Darby's residence, 307 Camp Trailee Road, Dudley, in preparation for the funeral procession.

Flowers may be sent to McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 S. George St., Goldsboro, beginning on Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
