William Donnell Whitfield, 59, 508 E. Walnut St., Apt. 201-A, died Monday in Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Funeral with military honors will be Friday at 11 a.m. in James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home.
He was born July 11, 1955, in Wayne County to William and Betty Carraway Whitfield.
He is survived by a daughter.
Visitation Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7, at Haskins Funeral Home. At other times, the family will receive friends at 210 Apt. H Hereford Drive, where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
