GLORIA G. BLANTON

Gloria Goff Blanton, 64, passed away Sunday at Duke-Raleigh Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late James Edgar and Katie Butler Goff, and was the wife of William "Bill" Blanton.
Mrs. Blanton was retired from Mount Olive Rehab as a nursing assistant.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Harold Woodlief officiating. Committal will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In addition to her husband, Gloria is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Marie Walters of Raleigh; a brother, Wesley Ray Goff of Greenville; two granddaughters, Laura Ashley Ray and husband, Edward Stephens, and Ashley Renea Blanton; a great-grandson, Edward Luke Stephens; and several nieces and nephews.
A daughter, Malinda Blanton, and a sisters, Katie Elizabeth Brogden, also preceded her in death.
