Myrtle Louise Davis Tillman, 86, Pikeville, went to be with her Lord and savior Monday evening, Jan. 12, 2015, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
A private family graveside will be held at her request.
Mrs. Tillman was born in Wayne County Sept. 13, 1928, to the late Waitus and Judith Lancaster Davis.
She attended United in Christ Church in Goldsboro.
She is survived by her son, Travis Gerald Tillman of Goldsboro; two daughters, Jenny Ingram and husband, Danny, of Goldsboro and Rachel Gwatney of Goldsboro; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Tillman.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, Jan. 15, 2015, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro, and other times at the home of her daughter, 103 Torhunta Road.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be directed to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
