Clarence D. "Boone-Back" Smith, 64, 8501 Main St., Cove City, died Monday at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bryant Chapel AME Zion Church Cove City, with the Rev. Brian T. Cornealius officating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 1 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Christian Brothers Funeral Home of Kinston.
