LACIE DAWN BARROW

LACIE DAWN BARROW

Sept. 8, 2010-Dec. 10, 2014

Lacie went to her heavenly home Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, to walk hand in hand with our Lord and savior.

This sweet little girl was brought into our lives Sept. 8, 2010, and placed by God in the loving hands of her parents, Sara Dawn Davis and Brandon Scott Barrow of Goldsboro. She had been a constant source of joy.

Lacie was a very special child born with Cockayne Syndrome. A true angel, having innocence and purity of heart, Lacie was a miracle and a blessing from the moment she was born. She shaped the lives of family, friends and random strangers in ways that made them into better people.

Lacie had a smile that would make anyone light up with happiness. Although in this world only a short time, she brought such joy to everyone who met her, and the loss is felt immensely. She is an angel who will be truly missed.

A service celebrating Lacie's life will be held by the graveside at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating.

In addition to her loving parents, Lacie is survived by her sister, Annah Mae Hare; grandparents, Dawn Eason Teachey, Terry Teachey, Nancy West and Thelma Davis; great-grandmother, Dorothy Eason; and several aunts, uncles and cousins, who loved Lacie very much.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Danny Ray Barrow.

Although flowers are welcome, the family suggests memorials be given to the Share Care Cockayne Syndrome Network to help children and their families improve their quality of life through support, education and research. Memorials can be sent to P.O. Box 282, Waterford, Va., 20197, or the family suggests memorials be given to Seymour Funeral Home to help with Lacie's funeral expenses.

The family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of her parents.

Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.seymourfuneralhome.com.
