AVA ALDRIDGE HINSON

Ava Louise Aldridge Hinson, 67, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at Kitty Askins Center surrounded by her family.
She was born March 24, 1947, to the late Fred Alton Aldridge and Elizabeth "Betty" Mitchell Aldridge.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ronnie Wise officiating. Burial will follow in Patetown Cemetery.
Ava is survived by her daughter, Maria Ann Hinson of Dudley; son, Thomas Ray Hinnant and fiancée, Tina Eastwood, of Dudley; sisters, Nancy Mitchell of Goldsboro, Jane Aldridge Head of Dudley and Mary Elizabeth Vanidestine of Goldsboro; brothers, Joseph Fred Aldridge of Goldsboro, William Merl Aldridge and wife, Brenda, of Dudley and Jesse Ray Aldridge of Grantham; and her grandchildren, Mikayla Frye, Jonathan Beaman and Ethan Beaman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Earnest Hinson, and brother, Donnie Ray Aldridge.
The family will receive friends Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
