Karen Louise Price, 61, died Friday afternoon at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
She was born in Wayne County to Margie Price and the late Sam Price.
She had worked at O'Berry Center as a healthcare technician.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends during the hour prior to the service.
Karen is survived by her mother, Margie Price of Rosewood; a brother, Tony Price and his wife, Ruth, of Arizona; a niece, Misty; and a nephew, Todd.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
