PEGGY DAVIS WALKER

Peggy Davis Walker, 73, Goldsboro, passed away Thursday, Aug. 21, 2014, at Rex Hospital surrounded by her family.
Peggy was born in Wayne County July 26, 1941, to the late Nellie and Clemmon Gary Davis.
She had worked as a seamstress with R.G. Barry for 16 years and with the Cloth Barn for more than 15 years.
Peggy was a wonderful wife, mama and grandmama. She will always be loved by her children, and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
The family will receive friends Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service celebrating Peggy's life at 11 a.m. in the chapel, with the Rev. Harold Anderson and the Rev. Ronnie Heath officiating. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Eugene Walker; children, Gary Grady and wife, Sandra, Jennifer Robbins and husband, Mark, Jeff Grady and wife, Rita, and Teresa Wilkerson and husband, Syl; her stepsons, Clifford E. Walker Jr. and David Alex Walker and families; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister, Helen Wiggins; brother, Junior Davis; and a special friend and caregiver, Janet Jinnette.
