NIKKI DEGRECHIE

Nikki DeGrechie, 68, Hickory, was called home to be with the Lord Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at Catawba Regional Hospice surrounded by friends and family.
Born Oct. 29, 1945, in Littlefield, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Robert James DeGrechie and the late Merle Lynskey DeGrechie.
Ms. DeGrechie was employed at Hanes Industries in Conover.
She graduated from Goldsboro High School in 1964, and continued her education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Wrenn Warlick and husband, Tracy, and their children, Taylor and Trey Warlick, all of Hickory, N.C.; son, Timothy Reuben Wrenn Jr. and wife, Lilly, of Verona, N.J.; granddaughter, Sidney Wuest of Kentucky; three brothers, Mike DeGrechie of Goldsboro, N.C., Tony DeGrechie and wife, Gina, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jeff DeGrechie and wife, Kathy, of Rochester, N.H.; soul sisters, Carol Matney of Prosperity, S.C., Ann Drum of Knoxville, Tenn., and Kay Jones of Raleigh, N.C.; stepmother, Donna Brewer DeGrechie of Alburg, Vt.; former sister-in-law, Marian DeGrechie of Goldsboro, N.C.; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held.
