Danny Lee Kahley, 65, died Thursday at home.
Born in Pitt County, he was the son of the late Bernard Kahley and the late Edith Cherry Gates.
A service to celebrate Danny's life will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Grifton Cemetery, with the Rev. Van Mitchell officiating.
Family members will greet friends at the grave following the service.
Danny is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and David Stocks of Goldsboro; a brother, Kenneth Ray Jones of Douglasville, Ga.; and four nephews, David Stocks Jr., Daniel Michael Stocks, Joseph Stocks and Christopher Stocks.
