Kathy Burroughs Howell, 63, 6944 U.S. 13 South, Snow Hill, passed Friday, July 25, 2014, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, N.C.
Family visitation will be held Monday, July 28, 2014, 5 to 6 p.m., and funeral services will be at 6 p.m. at The Heart of David Church, 202 S. Church St., Fremont, N.C. Pastor Kembra Lancaster will be officiating. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday morning, July 29, 2014, at Restview Cemetery, 188 Aycock Church Road, Fremont, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Angie Burroughs, and grandson, Brandon Baker.
She leaves loving memories to her husband, Chris Howell of the home; granddaughter, Jillian Wiggs of the home; daughters, Christy Baker of Princeton, N.C., Tracy Riggs of Fremont, N.C., Amy Rutledge of Goldsboro, N.C., and Chrissy Kay Smith of Farmville, N.C.; sisters, Jeanie Kunze and Sylvia Sasser of Goldsboro, N.C.; brothers, Nick Burroughs of Goldsboro, N.C., and Clayton Corbett of LaGrange, N.C.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family is receiving relatives at the home and at 188 Aycock Church Road, Fremont, N.C.
Mills Funeral Home is handling the service.
