WILLIAM "BILLY" G. TOLSON
Dec. 21, 1957-June 24, 2014
William "Billy" Glen Tolson, 56, passed away Tuesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
He was born in England to Evelyn Davis and Richard Tolson.
Billy never was able to talk in this life, but made many friends by his loving personality. He could always bring a smile to your face.
Billy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Uzzell of Swindon England and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Tolson of Moline, Ill., and his loving sister, Christine Grice.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with Dr. Bob Fulkerson and pastor Philip Sexton officiating. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. and at other times, will be at the home of Sherry Brun, 404 Wesley Drive, Goldsboro.
In addition to his mother and father, Billy is survived by a sister, Sherry Brun and husband, Adrian, also of Goldsboro and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a special "thank you" to Lou and Tammy of Skilled Creations and all of Billy's friends and staff from the group home.
