Glyn Daniel Allen, 33, Goldsboro, passed away suddenly Wednesday evening from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Glyn was born in Pitt County Jan. 15, 1981, to Terry Glyn Allen and Lynda Toler Allen of Goldsboro.

He was currently working in the produce department at Food Lion on U.S. 70 West.

Glyn was a man of many talents, which included his interest in Internet marketing, as well as his passion for trains, karate, art and ventriloquism.

Most important to Glyn was his family. Glyn was working so hard to prepare for his upcoming wedding in May.

He was currently attending Madison Avenue Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 3, 2014, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a service to celebrate Glyn's life at 11 a.m. in the chapel, with pastor David Touson, pastor James Frasher and Dr. Bob Fulkerson officiating. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

In addition to his parents, Glyn is survived by his fiancée, Kelly Heath; son, Aiden Scott Pinkston; sister, Charity Allen; maternal grandparents, William and Ruth Toler; uncles and aunt, Jack and Toni Toler, J.T. Allen Sr. and Lloyd Allen; and cousins, Ben and Lana Toler, Trey Toler, Markel Toler, Greg Toler, Robin Kreger and family, J.T. Allen Jr. and family and Warren Allen and family.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Buddy and Nell Allen, and his cousin, Debra Padgett.
