Jessica Ann "Jessie" Neece Ziegler, 36, Goldsboro, passed away Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014.
Jessie was born March 17, 1977, in Portsmouth, Va., to John A. Neece of Chesapeake, Va., and Patricia Ann Culver Hinson of Goldsboro.
Jessie loved life, and people were naturally drawn to her. She was happy, outgoing and energetic with a smile that would brighten any room.
Jessie had a great love of animals, and put forth great effort into their care.
She was a fan of Marilyn Monroe.
A graveside service of remembrance will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Cobb Cemetery.
Jessie is survived by her three children, Kevin Hanson, Briahna Ziegler and Makaylin Ziegler; mother, Patricia Ann Culver Hinson; her two fathers, John A. Neece and Ricky Hinson; two sisters, Erica Culver Hare and husband, Billy, and Brittany Cherie Hinson and fiancé, Billy Vaughn; grandmothers, Roxie Hinson and Shirley Jean Fish; a special friend, Jamie "Meme" Moore; along with a special niece and nephew, Spencer Hare and Olivia Hare.
Jessie's family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home, and at other times, will be at the home of Billy and Erica Hare, 470 Antioch Road, Pikeville.
