Joseph Eugene Cox, 58, Kenly, died at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield Tuesday.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Minshew-Coley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jimmy Millard officiating. Burial will be on his property.
Born in Craven County, he was the son of the late Robert Cox and the late Helen Tilton Cox. He was married to Angela Denise Johnson Cox .
He is survived by four sons.
Visitation will be Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
