Violet Rose "Pug" Wallace, 72, passed away Friday, Jan. 10, 2014, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
Violet was born in Wayne County Oct. 23, 1941, to the late William and Lizzie Evans Pate.
She was a member of Goldsboro Worship Center.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at Goldsboro Worship Center, with the Rev. Danny Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Price-Crocker Cemetery in Pine Level.
Violet is survived by her husband of more than 20 years, A.C. Wallace; daughters, Bridget, Wanda, Crystal and Teresa; seven grandchildren, Jason, Anthony, Michael, Chris, Ashley, Leah and Heather; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bobbie Gray.
The family will receive friends Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
