KENANSVILLE -- Anne Dail Craft, Kenansville, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014.

She was born in Kenansville Feb. 16, 1927, the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Dail.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William Earl "Pot" Craft, and her sister, Margaretta Dail Wright.

Mrs. Craft taught school for more than 40 years.

She graduated from East Carolina Teachers College in Greenville.

She was a member of Grove Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday school.

She was received the State Volunteer of the Year Award by former Governor James B. Hunt Jr.

Her survivors include her children, son, Billy Craft and fiancee´, Pam, daughter, Susan Craft Quinn and husband, Craig, son, Craig Craft and wife, Dianne, and son, Mark Craft and wife, Dawn; eight grandchildren, Tyler Craft, Travis Craft and wife, Amber, Jamie Craft, Max Craft, Townsend Quinn and wife, Emily, Mary Quinn Pruitt and husband, Chase, Danny Gainey and Ashley Gathings Peninger and husband, Joey; and five great-grandchildren, Sallie Grace Quinn, Charlotte Quinn, Micah Robinson, Timothy Gainey and Gunnar Peninger.

Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 12, at her home in Kenansville from 4 to 7 p.m.

Funeral will be held Monday, Jan. 13, at 11 a.m. at Grove Presbyterian Church, followed by internment at Golden Grove Cemetery in Kenansville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grove Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 786. Kenansville, or Duplin County Education Foundation, P.O. Box 128. Kenansville.

Community Funeral Home of Warsaw served the family.
