Elizabeth Ann Foley French, 75, passed away Saturday evening at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
Born in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, she was the daughter of the late James and Eileen Tobin Foley, and was the wife of Huston Ray French.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends following the service.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Frank James French of Snow Hill; a granddaughter, Lauren Anne French of Snow Hill; a grandson, Nicholas James French of Snow Hill; a brother, James Foley and wife, Jeanette, of St. John's, Newfoundland; a sister, Geraldine O'brien and husband, Stan, of St. John's, Newfoundland; and a sister-in-law, Betty Sullenger of Marion, Ky.
