A.W. Goulding, Jr., 83, passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
A.W. was born in Craven County March 26, 1930, to the late A.W. Goulding Sr. and Maggie Goulding.
He retired from
the National Guard,
and was a member of Jordan's Chapel Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Ray Smeltzer officiating.
He is survived by his son, Joe Goulding and wife, Kay, of Goldsboro; daughter, Debi Goulding of Greenville; three grandchildren, Brett Goulding and wife, Danielle, Brooke Rich and husband, Simon, and Jessica Harrell and husband, Russell; and a great-granddaughter, Eleanor Harrell.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Kay Goulding, 1203 Park Ave. B, Goldsboro, N.C.
