RHODA L. RAWLS

Rhoda Latif Rawls, age 77, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late James and Tillie Brenner Latif and wife of the late Raymond Rawls. She was a member of Jefferson United Methodist Church and was very active in her community.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Monday at 11 am at Jefferson United Methodist Church with Pastor Alice Davis officiating. Family members will greet friends at the church immediately following the service.
She is survived by her children, Michael S. Barbour, daughters Debbie B. Elliott and husband, Randy, Darlene Rae Smith and husband, Tommy, all of Goldsboro; four grandchildren, Garrett Smith and wife, Betty, Krista Smith, Nikki Kornegay and husband, Bradley, Michael D. Barbour; and one great grandchild.
Rhoda requested no flowers and memorial gifts may be directed to the Jefferson United Methodist Church, 1100 N. Jefferson Ave., Goldsboro, NC 27530
