MORRISVILLE -- Luby Lancaster, 89, formerly of Goldsboro, passed away Saturday afternoon at Western Wake Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete with Seymour Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

PIKEVILLE -- Wilda Janice Sauls, 79, of Big Daddy's Road passed away peacefully Friday, December 20, 2013 at home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 22, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro with visitation afterwards. The Revs. Marvin Wiggins and Ira Williford will officiate. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 23, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Pikeville Cemetery.

Mrs. Sauls was born in Wayne County to the late Sol Eldridge and Mary Ginn Horne on July 21, 1934. She was the widow of the late David Edward Sauls and preceded in death by a son, Brent Sauls.

She is survived by three sons, Douglas Sauls and wife, Fredrica of Kentucky, Timothy Sauls of Goldsboro and Clark Sauls and friend, Elizabeth Davis of Goldsboro; two daughters, Connie Howell and husband, Kenneth of Goldsboro and Joy Penny and husband, Rodney of Pikeville; two brothers, Rex Horne and wife, Johnnie Sue of Knightdale and Keith Horne of Goldsboro; one sister, Elda Baker of Goldsboro; ten grandchildren, Tammy Howell, Ken Howell, Dawn Michelle Butcher, Michael Sauls, Brandy Joyner, Steven Penny, Timothy Sauls, Danielle Sauls and Jessica Sauls and fourteen great-grandchildren.
