ROGER P. JONES

Roger Paul Jones, 64, passed away suddenly Thursday. He was the son of the late John Paul and Jessie Huntsinger Jones. Mr. Jones was a truck driver for USF Holland for 39 years.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Bell UMC in Leicester, N.C. Committal services will follow in the church cemetery. Family members will receive friends at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. and at other times at the home of Linda Clark, 209 Forrest Circle, Goldsboro, N.C.
Mr. Jones is survived by a son, Scott Alan Jones and wife, Stephanie, of Fairview, N.C.; a daughter, Michelle Jones Flynn and husband, Kenny, of Fairview, N.C.; two sisters, Linda Clark of Goldsboro, N.C. and Joyce Sizemore of Selma, N.C.; two uncles, Ed Huntsinger of Alexander, N.C. and Carl Huntsinger and wife, Janice, of Black Mountain, N.C.; and grandchildren Mattie Jones, Dakota and Dillion Pressley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two special friends, Clark Jarvis and Charlie Taylor.
