GLORIA JEAN HAMM

Gloria Jean Hamm, 72, peacefully became an angel in God's army on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of her home.
She was born July 27, 1941 in Goldsboro, NC, the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mary Best Hobbs.
Gloria was a retired administrator for EPA.
Survivors include her children, Sherri "Renee" Hamm, Cynthia Denise "Tina" Hamm, and Jesse L.D. Hamm "Jr."; grandchildren, Dante, Malik, Jamaal, Jesstin and Jeremiah; great-grandson, Remy; and favorite sister, Geraldine Elizabeth Hobbs.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the funeral service, which will begin at noon on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at Westphalia United Methodist Church, 9363 Darcey Road, Upper Marlboro, MD. Interment will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Blandensburg, MD.
