DOROTHY MAE BURNS WATERS

Dorothy Mae Burns Waters, 81, 3404 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, departed this life Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 6, 1932, in Cumberland County to Tracy and Frances Strickland Burns.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenore Waters, and daughter, Dorothy Barnes.
Mother Waters' life will be celebrated Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Woods Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Park, Princeton.
A wealth of precious memories are treasured by children, Alexander Waters and wife, Mary, of Orlando, Fla., Glen Waters, Alice Buckrham and husband, Darren, Adell Britto and husband, William, Rochelle Smith and husband, Thomas, Cheryl Bell of Goldsboro, Diana Reid and husband, Charles, of Walstonburg and Avon Waters of Gastonia, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday from 2:30 to 5 p.m. at Haskins Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at Woods Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the residence, where it will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
Arrangements are by Haskins Funeral Home, Goldsboro.
