Edward Earl Newsome, 67, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Graveside service was today at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Earl D. Newsome and Mae Myers Newsome.
He is survived by two children.
Visitation will follow the service at the cemetery.
Arrangements are by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home and Crematory.
