Mrs. Viola B. Gregory, 82, died Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.
Mrs. Gregory was a former longtime educator, and retired from the North Carolina school system.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at 2 p.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ Disciples of Christ at 700 W. Ash St., Goldsboro, N.C. Entombment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum, U.S. 117 South, Dudley, N.C.
A public viewing will be held at Hamilton Funeral Chapel Friday, Sept. 6, 2013., from 2 to 6 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Willie L. Gregory, and her daughter, Rhonda Y. Gregory.
The family will assemble an hour prior to the service at 602 S. Oleander Ave. in preparation for the procession to the church.
