JOHN S. SNEED

John Scott Sneed, 47, died Thursday, Aug. 29, in Seattle, Wash.
Born in Lancaster, S.C., he was the son of Johnny Sneed and the late Helen McElduff Sneed of Lancaster, S.C., and brother of the late Gene Byers.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with Dr. Michael Coppock officiating.
The family will receive friends following the services.
In addition to his father, John is survived by a son, Clyde R. Sneed of Mount Olive; a daughter and her fiancé, Jaboha A. Sneed and Lee Davis of Mount Olive; two sisters, Wendy Walker of Lancaster, S.C., and Mary Ann Garrett of Satellite City, Fla.; and two grandchildren.
