Tuesday evening, Sept. 3, 2013, the Rev. Dr. Pauline Smith West, 71, moved to her heavenly home.

Pauline was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family.

Pauline was born in Wayne County Sept. 28, 1941, to the late Jimmie Hill Smith and Edna Langston Smith.

She studied God's word all her life, and attended Heritage Bible College. Pauline was the recipient of her Doctorate in Theology, and was an evangelist until her declining health.

She was a member of Goldsboro Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of her life in the chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Deborah Kaye Brown and husband, William, and LeAnna West all of Dunn; her brother, Paul Smith and wife, Mary Ann, of LaGrange; brother-in-law, Kenneth Howell of Goldsboro; and a special niece, Beverly Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Edna Faye Smith Howell.
